Community Growth and Social Engagement for Wooden Camera

Overview

Wooden Camera, is B2B and B2C, e-commerce based camera accessory company formerly located in Dallas, TX and now in Irvine, CA.

Wooden Camera was experiencing inconsistent audience growth and engagement in their social media.

Goal

My goal was to discover what types of content resonated with Wooden Camera’s audience to deliver consistent results, increase engagement across Wooden Camera’s social media channels and grow their community.

Approach

  • Use A/B testing to determine what format and type of content resonated with new and existing audience members

  • Engage with the community in purposeful way

  • Engage with and create relationships with prominent influencers within the community

  • Source user generated content

  • Create and execute relevant paid ad campaigns

  • Use this information to make recommendations to graphic designers for specific content

  • Use analytics to create and optimize a content calendar with a consistent publishing schedule

Results

  • Increased reach and engagement on all social channels

  • Increase of over 8,500 followers across our social media channels

  • New, more effective in-house graphics when needed
